Dive Champs - July 6-7th at Hallbrook Country Club
Swim Champs - July 8th - Bud Merritt "B" champs at CCL
July 9th Champ Prelims and July 10th finals at CCL
Dive Champs:
The Dive Championship meets this year will be held at HALLBROOK with Bud Merritt Dive Champs on Monday, July 6th and 'A' Dive Champs on Tuesday, July 7th.
For the Bud Merritt dive meet on July 6th, please RSVP in Swimtopia- under calendar, July 6 Bud Merritt Dive Champs. Select if your diver is attending. We need all RSVPs by July 3rd at 4:00 p.m.
Swim Champs:
Swim Championships will be held at COUNTRY CLUB OF LEAWOOD from 8-10th. Bud Merritt Swim Champs will be on July 8th with 8U and 10U participating in the morning session, and 12U and older in the afternoon session. July 9h will be ‘A’ Prelims and July 10th will be ‘A’ finals, for those who qualified on Thursday. It is encouraged for all of our swimmers to participate in Champs and represent the Hurricanes, regardless of swimming at ‘A’ or Bud Merritt championships.
Swim Entries:
Regarding swim entries, if your swimmer is participating in Bud Merritt Champs, you will be able to choose their events when you declare them. For ‘A’ champs, the coaches choose two swimmers per event in each age group, considering the fastest times, consistency, and quality of strokes. If your swimmer is swimming an event in Bud Merritt, they cannot swim the same event in ‘A’ champs. If you have any questions regarding your swimmer’s entries, please contact the Head Swim Coach.
